To be fair, it is a steakhouse and when you are bold enough to have that in the title of your restaurant you're inviting guests to dine on steak. Next time, I must. However, salmon it was. Prior to digging into my entree I ordered a side salad which was okay. The thing is, when you have great salads it's hard for others to compete. Sur, pretty much threw in a bunch of garden vegetables and poured a heaping of dressing on top as evidenced by the photo and called it a day. But, hey I wasn't there for the salad. My salmon wasn't really seasoned too much. It was quite light and lacked flavor. It was cooked well and the portion size was perfect for lunch. The steamed vegetables consisted of broccoli, zucchini, squash and cauliflower. They too, lacked flavor but the blending of them with the salmon kind of made up for it.
All in all, Sur didn't really disappoint thankfully and I can actually say it was money well spent. I do plan to return and try out that steak and who knows maybe that will in turn drive me to write a new review. At any rate, if you're in the village and want a quality inexpensive meal try out SUR. They offer many different lunch options, I wouldn't necessarily recommend the salmon though.
